These half-hour sessions are designed to meet the varying needs of people at different stages of Alzheimer's Disease. Materials and depth of activities will differ depending on what is safest and most comfortable for the individual. One or two activities may be presented, depending on the individual's interest on the day of the session. Art Affair activities may include any of the following:
-watercolour and acrylic painting
-mixed media painting
-collage
-crafts
-poetry
-play dough or clay activities
-working with photographs
-print-making
-playing with textures
-pastels
-imitation stained glass
-metaphor imagery put into visual form
